Refund & cancellation policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

This policy explains when you can cancel, what is refundable, and how to ask. It applies to every purchase made from Cladiant, LLC through cladiant.com or the Cladiant application, and forms part of our Terms of Service. All prices and refunds are in USD.

The short version

  • You can cancel a subscription yourself at any time, with no fee and no notice period.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep the service you have already paid for until the end of the current billing period.
  • Monthly subscription fees already charged are not pro-rated or refunded for the unused part of a period.
  • If we fail to deliver what you ordered, you get your money back for that part of the order.

Service delivery

Cladiant sells a digital service. Nothing is physically shipped, so no shipping or returns policy applies - what stands in its place is when the service becomes available to you, which is what the rest of this policy is measured against.

  • Delivery method - electronically, inside your Cladiant account and pushed into your sending platform. There is no physical product and no delivery address.
  • When it starts - provisioning begins once payment is confirmed. Domains you asked us to buy are registered first, then mailboxes are created and DNS authentication is set up.
  • How long it takes - typical provisioning timelines are shown at checkout for the stack you ordered. You can watch progress on the order page, and we email you when the order is ready.
  • If it stalls - if an order has not been delivered in the timeframe quoted at checkout, contact us. You can wait for us to finish it or take a refund under the section below.

Cancelling a subscription

Mailbox subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account, or by emailing support@cladiant.com. No cancellation fee applies and you do not need to give notice.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you are currently in. Your mailboxes keep working until that date, after which the subscription ends, no further charges are made, and the provisioned resources may be de-provisioned. Because the period you cancel in has already been delivered, the fee for it is not refunded or pro-rated.

Domain registrations and other one-time charges

Domains you ask us to buy are registered in your order's name with a third-party registrar and are billed as a one-time charge on your first invoice. Once a domain has been registered the registry fee is spent and cannot be recovered, so registered domains are non-refundable.

If a domain you paid for could not be registered - it was taken, the registrar rejected it, or the order was cancelled before we bought it - that charge is refunded in full. You are never charged for a domain we did not register for you.

If we do not deliver what you ordered

If we cannot provision the mailboxes or domains in your order, or the service is materially not what was described at checkout, contact us and we will refund the affected portion of the charge in full. This is separate from the cancellation rules above and is not limited to the current billing period.

Deliverability outcomes are not a delivery failure. Inbox placement, open rates and reply rates depend on your content, lists, warmup and the recipient's provider, and are outside our control - we do not refund against campaign performance. See Acceptable Use for the sending practices that protect your own deliverability.

Accounts we suspend or terminate

If we suspend or terminate an account for breaching our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy - for example sending unlawful mail, or putting our providers' infrastructure at risk - fees already paid are not refunded. This is the one case where the delivery failure is not ours.

How to request a refund

Email support@cladiant.com from the address on the account, with your order number and what went wrong. Please raise it within 30 days of the charge so we can still reverse it cleanly with our payment processor.

We aim to respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. We do not issue refunds by any other method or to any other account.

Chargebacks and disputes

If something looks wrong on your invoice, please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank - almost every case is a billing question we can resolve the same day. Accounts with an unresolved chargeback or unpaid balance may be suspended until it is settled.
